Our sale runs on 100% volunteer power! As a THANK YOU to our volunteers, we provide:

• FREE meals, snacks, and drinks during shifts

• FREE childcare during shifts

• Tickets for you AND a friend to shop early at our Volunteer & Consignor Presale

• Chance to register for our next sale during Priority Registration to guarantee your consignor space and the first pick of volunteer shifts

• We provide on-site training – no prior experience necessary!

 

We have many volunteer opportunities:

 

• Set Up: helping clear chairs and furniture from the church; setting up racks, tables, and shelves needed for the sale. Physical shift – no limitations.

• Check In: helping check and sort items as consignors drop off; sorting and placing items in the correct places on the sales floor. Physical shift – no limitations.

• Organizing: evaluating the space once everything has been dropped off; making things clear concise, and orderly for out shoppers.

• Sales Floor: assisting shoppers on the sales floor once shopping begins; putting items back out on the sales floor as shoppers sort through items; carrying full baskets/items to our hold area/sold area for shoppers.

• Check Out: working on the computer/register to scan, count, and bag all items being purchased; process payments.

• Carry Out Helper: lift and carry large items from sales floor to sold area; lift and carry shopping bags or large item to a shoppers car once items are paid for. Physical shift – no limitations.

 

Super Volunteer Shifts:

 

• Meal Provider: Provide a breakfast, lunch, or dinner for 20 – this includes entrée, side, and drink/dessert. Provide a variety of drinks or snacks. Hospitality team will email with specific requirements based on the shift you chose.

• Breakdown: Sort all unsold items either back to the consignor or pull for donation. Break down the racks, tables, and shelves to go back to the warehouse. Reassemble the church back as it was before the sale. Check and organize all consignor boxes for pickup. Carry consignor boxes to the cars as they arrive for pickup.

 

Volunteers who sign up for one shift will earn TWO tickets to our Volunteer and Consignor Presale on Wednesday of sale week. Entry time is 6pm. Those volunteers who register for 2 or more shifts, or one labeled as SUPER will receive 2 tickets with a 5pm entry time. Volunteer tickets can be picked up at the sale at any of our shifts at the beginning of the week:

-Sunday 12:30-7:30pm

-Monday 9-12pm or 3:30-7:30pm

-Tuesday 8:30-12:30pm

 

If you are not available during those times, your tickets will be waiting for you in Will Call at the door when you arrive to shop on Wednesday.

If you are giving your tickets away to someone else, tell them to give the person at the door YOUR NAME to retrieve the ticket(s).

 

Priority Registration opens to our Fall 2023 volunteers on January 22 at 8am. If you volunteered with us last sale, CLICK HERE to browse and register for shifts.

 

Please do NOT register during our Priority Registration period unless you volunteered with us in the at our last sale. All non-earned entries will be removed.
